Our story began thanks to a little help from a friend—and Bumble. One of Stacy’s friends was actually the one who swiped right for Justin, but Stacy sent the first message. After talking for a while, we met for our first date on October 27, 2019, over whiskey cocktails at Polite Provisions in San Diego.That first date turned into hours of easy conversation about travel, scuba diving, and life. Afterward, we walked around the neighborhood before Stacy walked Justin back to his truck. On the drive home, Justin texted asking if he could see her again the very next day. After navigating the world of online dating, that simple text felt genuine, refreshing, and became the beginning of something special.Much of the start of our relationship happened during COVID, when the simplest dates became some of our favorites. We watched sunsets at the beach, piled blankets into the back of Justin’s truck for drive-in movies, and took long drives with country music playing. About six months later, we spent a week road-tripping through Big Sur, camping, hiking, and completely unplugged from the world. It was on that trip that Stacy realized she had found her best friend—someone she never got tired of being around. Around the same time, Justin stood beside her through one of life’s hardest seasons, proving he wasn’t just someone to share adventures with, but someone to lean on through anything.Today, we still love doing life side by side. Whether we’re traveling, exploring National Parks, working out together at F45, cooking dinner, cheering on our favorite sports teams, or enjoying our daily Nespresso coffee, we’ve learned that the ordinary moments are often the most meaningful. We’ve been fortunate to visit 11 National Parks together so far, and our goal is to see them all. That’s one of the reasons we chose to celebrate our wedding near Glacier National Park—a place that reflects our love for adventure and the outdoors.One of the greatest blessings of our relationship has been building a family together with Justin’s son, Owen. Stacy has been part of Owen’s life since he was three years old, and becoming his bonus mom is one of the greatest joys of her life. We love making memories together as a family and look forward to many more adventures in the years ahead.Justin proposed during a sunset sailing cruise in Cabo while celebrating our fifth anniversary. After dropping to one knee, he became so overwhelmed by the moment that he completely forgot the speech he’d planned. After a few silent seconds, Stacy laughed and asked, “Are you going to ask me?” Thankfully, the answer was an easy “yes.”We’re so grateful you’re here to celebrate with us as we begin this next adventure.
